Praxis participants gain an amazing amount of knowledge and networking from the curriculum and Praxis activities. But to me, the thing that differentiates Praxis from all other educational opportunities is the business partner experience. This is not a traditional internship, where you hope to impress a potential future employer by buffing up your resume. This is 100% about you gaining experience with hands-on projects and exposure to the inner-workings of an entrepreneurial enterprise. Following is the job description that my company, Ceterus, has put together for the Praxis participant we will host this coming February. We are excited to be part of this!

Why are you an Entrepreneur?
From as early as I can remember, I knew I wanted to create something unique. I wanted to own the responsibility of success and failure. I wanted to create something with amazing potential that had never been done before. Between the ages of 19 and 24, I started five different businesses trying to find the right fit for my abilities and passion. I did this while completing college and then succeeding in professional jobs at the same time. I always knew what I wanted in an abstract sense, however, I spent 4 years in college, then 5 years “succeeding” in the traditional professional world, before breaking the mold myself and going 100% into something I was totally sold-out and passionate about. It took me this time to identify what I was truly made to do. It has been the most challenging experience of my life, but by far the most rewarding. I can absolutely say that I am operating in my sweet spot and I love it! I only wish I had had the opportunity to fast-forward this process of discovery. I encourage everyone who has a passion for something bigger for herself to break the mold and Praxis.
