To act as the Business Development Intern working directly with the CEO and VP of Business Development.
Make scans of documents
Process incoming mail
Mail and ship documents
Assist company accountant with data-entry tasks
Assist sales team with CRM data entry
Research new prospects, contacts, and industries for the sales team
Research new cloud technology solutions for possible use by the company and/or clients
Attend conferences as a junior member of sales team
Make cold calls to prospects in specific niche markets (with script)
Make warm calls to prospects in specific niche markers (with script)
Send cold emails to prospects in specific niche markets
Send warm emails to prospects in specific niche markets
This position will begin working from their downtown Charleston offices. Most of the staff, upon gaining full training and understanding of their roles, have the option to work where they want. These options include working from their Charleston, SC office, working from home some or all of the time or potentially working from a new location within the US. Since this is an intern role, assume that all time will be spent in the office or at sales events.
