The Praxis team does reference checks, interviews candidates, reviews writing samples, and poses challenges to applicants to test their competency and entrepreneurial problem-solving abilities. We want to make sure our business partners have the top talent at their fingertips.
The kinds of people who apply and get accepted to Praxis are those for whom just doing the bare minimum, what’s expected of them, and what is easy and comfortable is not enough. Our participants push themselves and what is conventional to go and create value where it is least expected. They’re insatiable in the best way possible and have that spark that sets them apart from their peers.

“Can I hire the participant after the program is over?”
Many of our trusted business partners like to use Praxis as a way of finding and testing new talent. We’ve had a number of companies extend full-time offers to participants — both those who have worked with them and those who have worked with other partners. We’ve even had partners hire a participant full-time right out of the gate. While you are by no means obligated to extend an offer to a participant, you are free to do so at no extra cost to your business.
Professional Development Program
In addition to sending hungry young talent to you, Praxis provides this talent with their own professional and personal coach and development program (PDP). For about 10 hours every week, participants complete a set of 30-day challenges that they develop with the assistance of their Praxis advisor. Pulling on custom content and our own interdisciplinary education library, participants can engage in both personal growth and professional growth simultaneously.
This isn’t just a series of courses or challenges totally removed from the work at your company. The PDP is entirely created for the business partner experience. Praxis advisors regularly update you on the progress of your Praxis participant and are at your beck-and-call to design a new monthly PDP for the participant.
Need your participant to build a high-level database? No problem. We’re on that.
Need your participant to learn some data science skills? You got it.
Copywriting? Event planning? Digital marketing? Done, done, and done.
While participants come to the program with their own skills and experiences that set them apart, the PDP is designed to help them grow in new areas and continue creating value at a higher rate.
They also complete a portfolio project — a self-guided, independent project that directly connects with their goals and desires. For many, this means undertaking a major project at their business partner. Participants have launched new marketing campaigns and copy re-drafts, founded marketing businesses, built, developed, and launched mobile applications, and undertaken and presented major research projects for business partners.

Network of Resources and Opportunities
