The Praxis participants are constantly out doing new things, either through creating new programs, coding new apps, writing public posts, or, in the case of Fall 2014 Participant James Walpole, hosting a podcast. James was recently invited to join the podcast Decentralize as a co-host and a producer.
In his debut episode, James discusses his decision not to attend college and participate in Praxis instead. While many students consider Praxis as a gap year, he’s decided to take his own “gap life,” taking charge of his own education and tailoring it, and his life, to what he wants. In the podcast, he notes that if there is one thing you should be selfish about, it’s your own education.
The interview also explores OpenBazaar, an open source project for trading and sharing anywhere in the world using bitcoin.
