Some participants choose Praxis after they’ve graduated from college, while others use it completely in lieu of that path. One such participant is John Hunley, who will be putting his knowledge of computers and information systems to use at Khorus, in Austin, TX, starting in February!
John has been homeschooled, and has attended traditional schools, and found that Praxis was the best way of continuing his path of self-directed, quality learning.
I hadn’t heard about Praxis until after graduating high school, and wasn’t really sure what to do from there. Praxis’ self-controlled and entrepreneurial educational style seemed like a perfect fit for someone like me who never fit in to the homogeneous group education offered in traditional school. With the additional offering of an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship that I would not find elsewhere, applying to the program was a no-brainer. I applied towards the end of my summer internship this past year.
Praxis is the clear path forward for somebody like myself. I found a way to get real-world experience and a quality education, and I’m continuing that.
