We’re excited to be in the final stages of reviewing and placing our Winter 2015 participants, and with that, being able to feature them here! Today, meet Brittney Little, an unstoppable young doer who knows what she wants, and knows how to get it.
Just two short months ago, I was a junior at Seton Hall University. It hit me like a lightning bold one morning…I had no idea why I was still there. I was attending impractical classes while I plummeted myself into debt only to know that when I graduate I would be just as hopeless as I was while in college. After five semesters, I still felt like I hadn’t learned a single thing with my international relations major. Why was I wasting my time when I knew I wanted to be out in the world, creating value?
After reading all the blog posts and watching all of the videos on the Praxis website, I knew right away that this was the next journey I needed to embark on. I know exactly what I want to do, and the Praxis curriculum and model will allow me to obtain the real knowledge and skills that I want. I no longer have to sit through another fruitless class on international relations theory; now, I can learn business techniques, economics, and even philosophy. I will have the opportunity to work at an entrepreneurial business partner where I can see firsthand what it takes to run a successful business. That to me is absolutely crucial and worthwhile for my future. I’m excited to grow as a person and start this new chapter in my life.
We’re excited to welcome Brittney onto the crew for Winter 2015, and can’t wait to see what she accomplishes during the span of the program!
