When a startup is growing quickly and needs to bring on fresh talent that isn’t stuck in the stodgy old ways of the massive corporate world, Praxis provides a great opportunity to find the right people. Flowhub recently approached us for this reason — they want somebody who can hustle, is excited to learn about building a startup, and is passionate about the legalization of cannabis.
Based in Denver, Flowhub provides software for managing seed-to-sale cannabis growth. While growers are required to track and report cannabis growth, Flowhub’s platform takes what would be hours of scribbling down notes and entering it into spreadsheets and makes it into a quick 10-15 minute task. Flowhub’s cloud-based software tracks and categorizes sales of all kinds of cannabis products and helps entrepreneurs manage their products at every step of the game.
They’re one of just a few companies assisting in the growth of this budding new industry in states like Colorado, Oregon, and California. To be blunt, the growth they’ve experienced is amazing — and they want a Praxis participant to join them in this growth.
The selected participant will have an opportunity to assist in the acquisition and care of new customers through an aggressive growth phase of the company. You’ll get to work regularly with the executive team, including the founders, while you take Flowhub to the next level.
Timeframe: Apply for April – June classes
Location: Denver, CO
While the core of this role is business development and acquiring new customers, this calls for a real utility player. If you want to put your skills in writing, design, tech, or other areas to good use, you’ll have an opportunity here. This is a great way to get in to the tech world without a technical background.
Some qualities of a good candidate are:
- Hustler mentality
- Passionate about cannabis legalization
The selected participant has the opportunity to work closely with the founding team of a quickly-growing company — something that few people ever have the opportunity to do. You’ll get to be immersed with some of the best and brightest people in both tech and the fledgling cannabis industry.
