Is ‘Follow Your Passion’ Good Advice, or Cheesy Claptrap?

There are numerous excellent articles and books advocating the idea that you should follow your passion, live your dreams, only do things that you love.

There are numerous excellent articles and books advocating the idea that you should just master something people value, rather than what you value, and that will earn you the money and freedom to enjoy life.

TK Coleman and I have read, contemplated, debated, and discussed countless of these arguments from both sides over the past decade or so.  This topic – whether it’s a good and realistic idea to do what you love – comes up so often that we decided to discuss it at length in this podcast.

The main things is not to be stressed or afraid to engage this question.  Make it a game, and remember that no one else can craft a perfect road map for your happiness!

It’s possible both approaches are focusing on the wrong thing…
