This past weekend the Fall 2014 Praxis Class wrapped up their program experience with a closing seminar in San Francisco, CA. The closing seminar was a great send-off for participants after an intensive 10 months of learning how to create value in the marketplace, developing skills alongside entrepreneurs and thinkers, and pursuing professional projects.
What They Did:
Participants spent the weekend presenting their portfolio projects, catching up with each other and the Praxis team, and attending the exclusive Thiel Summit, where they were able to interact with fellow aspiring entrepreneurs and gain insight on the next big things coming out of Silicon Valley.
Session topics at the Thiel Summit included the challenges of starting global companies, how teens raise seed capital, the future of virtual reality, and how to deschool yourself (from our very own Zak Slayback).
The portfolio project presentations were absolutely inspiring. From launching a publication on successful young people to designing hardware, these participants built their own amazing experiences and are moving on having created tangible value.
