Working at BitPay has helped me to discover my ability to master skills in what can be a fast-moving and uncertain environment. I feel far more confident about my creative work and far more aware of the opportunities to learn since coming here. My work is fulfilling, and I am excited about building value for my team and our customers here as well as in my own future projects and startups.

What does BitPay do?
BitPay is a payments technology provider for bitcoin, a digital currency which is used and sent over the internet. In short, we help businesses accept the fastest and most secure payment method on earth for free, without the risk and difficulty of mastering the technology themselves.
What do you do in your day-to-day at BitPay?
I’m something of a generalist, so on any given day I might be designing a simple ad, writing or editing a blog post, or drafting copy for our website. The day to day work is flexible while being demanding – it’s a great opportunity to grow and learn new skills.
What’s unique about BitPay that you couldn’t find anywhere else?
My coworkers are uniquely philosophical. I think that a certain amount of self-knowledge is required to work with products and technologies that are still on the edge, and it shows in our teams. They know themselves, and they know the significance of what they are building.
Where do you see the future for BitPay and bitcoin?
Bitcoin is not just a slight improvement over the payment technology we have today. It is exponentially different and better. I don’t know exactly what form bitcoin’s success will take, but I am confident that BitPay will be a part of it. Our team is focused on the innovation and learning it will take to make bitcoin a part of the business landscape far into the future.
