Welcome the November class of Praxis Participants!

Rose Ackerman

Fun fact

I’m obsessed with personality types. I love to try to figure out my friends’ and family’s Myers Briggs or Enneagram types. I use this knowledge to better understand myself and how to best interact with others.

What are you most excited about?

All the projects! I love hands on things and getting stuff done. I’m a visual person, so seeing all my work come together is what I’m most excited about in the Praxis program.

Samuel Auld

I am left handed, but I play almost all sports right handed. I throw and kick with my left but my golf swing and baseball swing are right handed.

What are you most excited about?

I’m really excited to work with an innovative and exciting company and meet some cool new people in the process.

I love to travel! I have been to a lot of states in the US, I’ve been to Spain, and I’ve been to a few different places in Australia.

What are you most excited about?

I’m excited about the experiences I’ll be fortunate enough to receive as well as the knowledge I’ll receive from like-minded individuals. This program is something I’ve looked into for a while, and I’m so excited and ready to start it!

I commercial fish in Alaska over the summers.

What are you most excited about?

What I’m most looking forward to in Praxis is the challenge. I’ve heard there’s a high learning curve, and I learn best when under pressure.

Samantha Clarkson

I have moved over a dozen times in my life. The longest move was from Georgia to New Hampshire and the shortest was to the house next door.

What are you most excited about?

I think I’m most excited about moving to a new place. Even though I know from experience it’s a pain, I still can’t wait to see more of the world and to meet new people.

Joey Wickham

I spent a year living in a cabin with no electricity in the mountains of North Carolina. I cut down and split wood for heat and used flashlights for lighting. I did this to train for remote overseas missions.

What are you most excited about?

I am most excited about gaining and learning new skills throughout the bootcamp/apprenticeship experience and using them to truly benefit others. Whether that be the business partner I’m paired with for the apprenticeship, friends, family, or people in other countries who have so much less than I do.
